Coaching

Coaching focuses on the interdependence of mind, body and spirit. It is growth oriented and centered in the present. An Integrative Health Coach partners with clients to deal with chronic\health conditions, such as weight issues, diabetes, hypertension, etc. The process involves increasing motivation, exploring values and limiting beliefs, setting realistic, doable goals. It empowers them to gain optimal health and wellness.

As a Functional Medicine certified health coach it is my goal to educate, support and empower you in creating positive lifestyle and behavioral changes to reach your health goals. Health Coaching is a client centered, collaborative relationship in which we co-create your personal plan.

Topics of discussion may include: Morning and evening routines, food and nutrition, self-care, sleep, stress management, exercise, values, spiritual needs, relationships, time management, character strengths, and the specific heath challenges and other lifestyle issues that impact your wellbeing.

What is functional medicine?

Mindfulness and Movement

Of all of the wellness education, techniques and tools that I practice personally and share with clients, meditation and awareness continue to be the most important offering, the scaffolding, of how I work with clients.

Mindfulness helps us gather our awareness into the present so that we can clarify our intentions for our life!


Somatic Experiencing (SEP)

Somatic experiencing trauma healing is a way to help access the wisdom of the body by helping the nervous system return to balance and calm.

It is a method for resolving trauma and stress in the nervous system with a body-centered approach, based in neuroscience & biophysics.

I am currently in the midst of the professional training program.
